1. General provisions

This Privacy Policy defines the procedure for processing and protecting personal data of users who submit requests, arrange car rentals, and interact with ООО «ПраймАвтоСолюшн», registered at the address: Minsk, Republic of Belarus.

The Policy has been developed in accordance with the requirements of the Law of the Republic of Belarus of 7 May 2021 No. 99-Z “On Personal Data Protection” and regulates the collection, storage, processing, and use of personal data of clients and users of the website LaoCar.by.

By submitting a request on the website, signing a car rental agreement, or otherwise providing personal data, the user confirms that they have read and agree to the terms of this Policy.

2. Personal data processed

Personal data for the processing of which consent is given:

Full name (surname, first name, patronymic — if any);
Date and place of birth;
Passport details;
Registered and/or residential address;
Contact details (phone number, email address);
Driver’s licence details;
Bank card details used to pay for rental services;
IP address, cookies, browser and device data when using the website;
Booking history, enquiries, and interactions with the operator;
Audio and video recordings from surveillance cameras in offices and during vehicle handover;
Data transmitted in chats, messengers, and other electronic channels;
Geolocation data if trackers are installed on vehicles.

3. Purposes of personal data processing

The operator processes personal data solely for the following purposes:

Identifying the client when arranging a car rental;
Fulfilling obligations under the rental agreement, including acceptance, return, and monitoring of the vehicle’s condition;
Organising feedback with the client;
Performing financial transactions related to car rental;
Providing technical support when using the website;
Improving service quality, conducting surveys and marketing research;
Providing clients with special offers, discounts, and loyalty programmes;
Ensuring security and preventing fraud, protecting the operator’s property;
Complying with the legislation of the Republic of Belarus;
Recording the circumstances of vehicle handover and return using photo and video recording.

4. Methods of personal data processing

Personal data processing includes collection, recording, systematisation, storage, modification, use, anonymisation, transfer to third parties in cases provided by law, as well as deletion and destruction after the retention period expires.

The operator processes personal data with and without the use of automation tools.

5. Transfer of personal data to third parties

Personal data is transferred to third parties only in the following cases:

To public authorities upon their official request;
To banking and payment systems for settlement purposes;
To insurance companies within the insurance of the rented vehicle;
To the operator’s partners in the course of performing the rental agreement;
In other cases provided for by the legislation of the Republic of Belarus.

Transfer of personal data is possible only where confidentiality and data protection are guaranteed.
